ELEX was established in 1974 as an independent leasing company whose purpose is to provide capital equipment financing for industrial, commercial and financial organizations within the continental United States. The company started as The Equipment Lease Exchange, Inc. An expansion in the 80s brought about the birth of The ELEX Financial Division and The ELEX Leasing Division followed by the consolidation to The ELEX Group, Inc. in the early 90’s. Our focus has always been middle market transactions with a specialty in the computer/technology industry. Over the years we have expanded our portfolio to include all types of equipment, with the exception of rolling stock. In addition, we have established our Application Only Program for small ticket transactions.
In 1996 we added our Vendor Alliance Program. In 2001 we expanded this program to include transactions between $10,000 – $75,000 with our Application Only Program. The purpose of our Vendor Alliance Program is to establish partnerships with our Vendor Partners to provide a comprehensive financing program for their customers’ capital equipment needs that will create a competitive advantage for our vendors and increase their sales.
Since ELEX is not a broker and we “hold the paper” on our transactions we have the flexibility to restructure the original transactions and respond to our customers’ individual financing needs. Our size and organizational structure allow us to be flexible and creative with our products. At ELEX we take pride in establishing long term relationships.
